Welcome to my site everyone, and as the keen eyed amongst you may have spotted, my name is Adam.

I currently work as a Consultant in a very busy A&E department in London, while also leading a team currently conducting ground-breaking research within the field of regenerative medicine. During my time off, I volunteer for ‘Doctors without Borders’, bringing healthcare to war-torn and disease-ridden regions in the world. On top of that, I am commissioned by ‘National Geographic’ to document unchartered lands, regions and cultures around the world, with my earnings going to helping those in dire need, through an NGO that I founded.

Unfortunately, the above, apart from ‘my name is Adam’, is not true. Although one day, I hope it will be! Everyone needs a dream.

Whilst I can’t claim to being a doctor yet, nor even a full-time traveller, I do have an inexhaustible love for travel, adventure, photography, culture, the oceans, and medicine. Despite the arduous and hurdle-filled task of becoming a doctor, my motivation to work in the field of healthcare has never ceased, and nor has my passion for travel and exploration. Although at times, it’s been extremely tough to make both work. Nothing comes without a challenge.

Upon leaving college at the tender age of 18, with sub-par A-Levels, I decided, as many now do, to leave. It didn’t matter where, just, to go. So I did. I chose Australia. It seemed definitive at the time. Now, nearly 8 years on: I’ve travelled and backpacked extensively through 46 countries, become a PADI Scuba Instructor, climbed mountains, lived in India and Sweden, learnt Swedish, worked for 3 winter seasons as a Reindeer Herder in the Arctic with the Sami people, and, what for me was my greatest achievement, I have obtained an Upper-Second Class degree in Biology (Hons) while doing all of these things.

This travel and photography site will become a huge part of my life’s journey; from becoming a doctor, to travelling to some of the most obscure parts of the world. Although I have already done so much over the last 10 years, this really is something that I love, and it would be fantastic if my experiences can help others and even influence or motivate you to travel / study / follow your dreams and generally just to live your life. I have done exactly that, and there is no reason why you can’t either!

I very much hope you enjoy looking through my galleries, and following my adventures. Whether you would like to work with me on a project, commission me for photography work, or just a general comment or query, I’d love to hear from you.

Live, don’t exist.
